Napping, as you know is not a team sport.

Isn’t it always the case that when you tell someone, anyone a friend or coworker something that you’re planning, or someone you’ve started seeing or something you hope will happen in your life- it inevitably falls through. Not even that, it crashes and burns until all you want to do is nap.

you know the time in the morning when you wake up and then drift off back to sleep? During that brief nap I always have the strangest most vivid dreams.

Ch-Ch-Channnges

It’s weird when people change there names. Just randomly one day you open up facebook and see a a new status by someone named “Brittany Smith.” Well you don’t know a “Brittany Smith”, or do you? Then you click on the link to go to her profile and then, oh it hits you, you do know this person. But since when did she decide to go by Brittany?

I just put my bed up on risers, its weirddddd. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bed quite this tall before. Once I get a bed skirt and hide the bottom then maybe it’ll look better. When I slept on it last night for the first time I felt like I was floating on a cloud.

Speaking of sleeping, last night I had the most amazing, kind of weird dream! It was my friend Beth’s little sister’s birthday party but it was as if my life was an episode of Gossip Girls. So everything was very dramatic, and everyone in the dream was wearing really fancy party clothes. The whole dream ended with a baby farm animal petting zoo. Where I cuddled with a baby cow.. a calf and then I played with kittens that where only three inches big, like little windup toys. And… then I woke up.

I love Thursday night TV. Thursdays are the new fridays.

I’ve decided for Christmas I want rent money, insurance money, and a french press! Also maybe this T-shirt. Also maybe a french press with a knitted sweater- what could be better?!

Last night I had a really fun night on the town with my lovely Fairfax friends, Britton and Nicole. We had tickets to the Shakespeare Theater Company’s As You Like It. Before the show we had a great tappas dinner at La Tasca restaurant. The play was great and I loved how they traveled through different eras to tell the story.

Sandy Dreams.

I’ve always wanted to go on a crazy, sunny, sandy, wild, drunken spring break to some cheesey city in Florida or South Carolina. Okay maybe not the drunken part so much. I’d love to just get away for a whole week without school, or money worries or anything like that.

At least that what all my distant highschool friends portray in their many Facebook albums of their spring break.  Surprisingly none of those people are art majors, or anything that may actually use their brain. (Harsh maybe, but lets just call me what I am, a bitter art nerd) You see when I and all my fellow photo or art majors always had went on spring break we couldn’t dash off to a sunny wasteland. Noooooo, we had to save our money to buy supplies, new equipment, or look for summer jobs in order to save for that latter.

So while I’ve graduated from college, I really hope that some day me and my best girlfriends will be able to go to some cheesey town for a couple of days. Who know we might have kids or husbands by the time this happens, but I will always hold out hope for that magical twenty-something spring break.
